| taking a T1 off (at 1.5Mbps), reduces the speed from 6M to 4.5M.
here are some options from a Qwest reseller for 4.5M...
1 yr ... 1,695.00/month + free install + free router 2 yr ... 1,493.00/month + free install + free router 3 yr ... 1,461.00/month + free install + free router
With these options you can upgrade at any time to a higher speed and the reseller will continue to provide the appropriate router. Just so I'm clear, the reseller retains title to the router -- you can use it, but it's not your asset.
Realize that with these dedicated connections, we don't have to say "up to" some speed level, and we don't have to say that speeds could vary based on "conditions." You would have a dedicated connection to a Tier One network backbone, so the speed and stability is consistently high, regardless of what other folks in your area are doing. As T1s are specially engineered data circuits, they also get priority relative to maintenance and support. This is not DSL signaling riding on a voice grade line which would be appropriate for your home. -- "Teleblend has an agreement with the Assignee to solicit and support former SunRocket customers." |
