RockyBB : the issue really isn't if Qwest will or won't. the issue is to disclose to the client that there is a jeopardy that Qwest might or might not fulfill the order. If the client is in a hurry ... if some project has a deadline, if staff are being hired or if they are subcontracting for some larger purpose, and the order is canceled two weeks later, then the timeline starts all over again and the financials of the next best deal might queer the whole project. As reps, we have a responsibility to qualify for residential/commercial, and if it's residential and the choice is sourced on Qwest then we have an obligation to warn the client that the deal might tank. It is not acceptable to suddenly reveal to the client two or three weeks into the project, "sorry bud, can't do it for that price, see ya."
