Kind of what I was thinking. 2 miles? That's all? There are wireless providers around here doing three times that with off the shelf 802.11b gear.... |

| yeah... ive seen wi-fi go up to a mile... given it was an amplified signal... ive also heard of huge distances achieved... even though they werent omni-directional... |

With this being such a micro deployment, it's creation is obviously not being based on any direct ROI studies, but for the publicity. That and $6 will get them a cup of StarBucks Coffee. |
