Interesting... but it's been done elsewhere!

I'm currently traveling in the Dominican Republic and obviously need to stay connect. My cousin lend me his OneMax WiMax box and to my surprised the darned thing worked.

Although the speed is only 768/128 the box came with a RJ45 and RJ11 ports. To many a long story short the box is a "walking" VoIP source high speed access point for my computer.

The Service includes unlimited Local Calling, as well as 3 hours worth of calling to the US/Canada for about US$70 and 3 pennies a minute for any overages.

Now if the Sprints/Verizons/AT&Ts/TMos/Others of the world could get their heads out of their @$$es and finally come up with a way to blanket America with WiMax I'd be a happy camper.
