| The suddenlink 12mb scam
OMG I just called about upgrading my internet to the 12mb from the 6mb. I currently have suddenlink HDTV/Phone and internet. And they tell me the monthly price difference would be a whopping 50 bucks more per month. And the precede to tell me that the 12mb will not be added to any packages in the near future and probably wont be. what is everyone else paying for this ridiculous upgrade. |

If it keeps going down, I am going to start calling to get my price for 10mbit down.. I wonder how many calls it would take to get someone to give me 12mbit when it's not even available in this market..

Call number 3 wow its now down to 19.99 more. I took it this time of course they fed me the bull about a technican needing to come check the line so of course i scheduled it for a tech to come 2 weeks from now i could have done sooner but im gonna see if they flip it on before then to try to cancel my service call if they do. I know good and well the line doesnt need checked they came last month and installed a seperate cable straight from pole to the new modem they gave me when i got phone service they even had to put a splitter on it cause i had too good of signal. And if they still inisist on coming so be it. Little do they know im going to be taping the whole time they are here im going to have cameras set at the box and inside along with video capture on the computer screen itself. Well see what kind of scam they are running and see if they are doing anymore than a speed test. Ill be sending a copy to the local news station if it is a scam and see if they are interesting in running a story on it.
Ill repost a link later and a time where you can all watch it live if the do insist on the call |

SL pulled the wool over the eyes of of the Wood County Commissioners and the City of Parkersburg when they bought out this area! I will not sign up for this higher service until they drop the ridiculous fee!!!! |

Still one week till they come and looks like they been tweaking my speed somewhat
Still no upload change yet i got those speeds after power cycling my modem ill recycle again tonight and see what happens |

i think i'll do the same thing. I ordered the 12mbit package and the girl at the office cringed when she told me there was a 70 dollar fee. I had new lines from the pole installed 6 weeks ago when the service was initially installed, so i know there wont be a problem there. My appointment is from 1-5, lets just hope they get here in that time frame instead of 9:45pm like last time. |

should be good i have an automated motor cam that will follow them around the room lol. Ill have to do some video editing to add in the screen capture of what they actually do on the pc and ill have to merge the cam as i follow them outside to see if they actually do anything outside. If i get charged 70 bucks for nothing ill definitely be sending in a complaint to the state attorney generals office and the bbb. If local news station is interested theyll get a copy of the video. Theres no excuse for them to come out unless your not getting the speed. We all know very well they dont have to come unless there is a problem. I mean come on if you order cable they dont come to see if you can get it they just connect it service calls come when there is a problem. Not fair were getting raped by them there making us pay for their upgrades and whats worse is no other state gets charged these fees never heard of someone having to pay 70 bucks to get the 10mb lol maybe i should ask if i can get the 10mb instead of 12 and not pay any fee lol |

You might want to check your laws before doing that. You have to receive permission from others on the property to be allowed to film that person. Just thought I would let you know before you do something you can get in trouble for. |
