[Rant] Where did it go? I think it's [OT]

A rant forum, I think I'm in the right area.

My vain grievous rant is two of my illnesses eating away at my long term and the ability to move knowledge from short to long term memory. Via a kind Professor I helped a lot in RDD 1 I got a shiny Microsoft Visual Studio 2005. Now, I have to take time off from school for: 1. Moving here to Illy and 2. Staring at this new VB.Net interface and having a complete blank on doing anything. I took C++/VB.Net/Java intros and flew through them with A's and perfect labs.

But that was awhile ago. (The classes, not the shiny dvd) No indepth, but this school refused my transcripts because I got a GED and not a pretty High School diploma. So no classes for me for 3 years (I tried hard to get that woman to properly enter my transcripts for 3 years). The illnesses had a part but not the whole. Now I'm applying to a University and my transcripts from one Comm College looks like gold. 4 courses a term, Dean's List twice blah blah. Second college I was having serious health issues made worse by the wicked witch of the admin so I've been taking pointless classes until I found the info on this new University who wants to take me I think.

That's background to the new blanking out. I forgot how to program. My life's dream isn't in my head, one of the two ate my knowledge of writing code. For the first time I feel defeated by my illnesses!

Mods, feel free to move it, delete it, poke it with sharp sticks until it dies.

For a semi happy ending, I keep all the books I buy for college so my intro books are in a box in the garage. I have to sit and relearn every language or come in ass to the wind and pray to survive.
