Re: [General] Should I get Clearwire? I live in the country

The only way to really determine whether Clearwire is for you is to try it out! Perhaps the local Clearwire people can come to your place and check the signal strength, etc. They do that here in the Abilene, TX area. Personally, I live in the country about 4.5 miles from the nearest tower, there's a small hill in the way, and trees between the tower and me. I get 4 lights on the modem and the connectivity is great. If you have no other options for broadband, then you should definitely give it a try. Clearwire (in my experience) will work with you to get good service. If your connectivity is bad, they'll take it all back -- again, that's the way it is here.
