| Wanna know the truth? It wasn't a matter of a server crashing, or any maintenance. It was a crappy program that helps to maintain email accounts and email address properties. If you have an email address attached to your Charter account and it somehow gets, shall we say 'lost', your screwed. This kind of thing happens daily. I worked at a Charter call center for 2 years. Every day I would see this type of thing at least once or twice. The only reason anybody noticed this time is because it happened on a much larger scale. And gryphon is right... there is NO GUARANTEE that any of your residential services will work. Ever! My advice to all those who are able, switch providers and try to slowly kill Charter. |
