No one safety is jeopardized by exclusive cable agreements nobodies' rights are being violated. My post wasn't about products or product safety at all. I was making the point that if a law comes into effect that would make a contract void, it should apply to existing contracts as well as new contracts. I was comparing existing contracts to new ones, or Braeburns to Fujis as you put it.
