Ran a new line to the modem = better numbers?

This is a followup from this thread: »Is it normal for DSL to drop when a phone call comes in?

The problem with phone calls causing the DSL line to drop out had gotten better but came back with a vengeance recently so Centurytel came out today an ran a new line directly to the modem.

Speed test now:
(more or less the same as before and close to the speeds we are buying.

Transceiver stats:

hopefully these are better?

So these are better numbers, right?
Oh, and several phone calls later - there have been no drops.

You're downstream level looks much better indeed. I see your upstream level was at 1.0 when you checked it...I've been seeing this issue every so often, and it seems to be an issue with the modem reporting the correct numbers. Possibly a firmware glitch. Keep an eye on it, and if your d'load speed seems to be going slow, log in and check to see what your upstream values/speeds are. Sometimes power cycling the modem will cause it to come back and show the true values.

This is after a reboot of the modem this morning and the numbers are about the same.

Slower download speeds have only rarely been an issue and a modem reboot usually fixes that but I'll keep and eye on it.

Thank you for the help.
