I'm FTTP but legacy network not U-Verse. I've been trying for 2 1/2 weeks to get switched over to U-Verse and I'd love to be on the 10/1.5. I guess it's not meant to be. |

I thought about going for this, but I'm really disappointed about the price tag. I was hoping that the Elite package would be bumped up to 10mbps, but I guess it's just not going to happen.

If it were 15/2, I'd switch back and go internet-only. Apparently in this area they're putting ALL new FTTP orders on the Lightspeed network regardless of whether or not they order TV with it.

| I've been told the exact same thing ... all new orders get UVerse. However at the same time they can't
1) Sell me Internet Only because I'm not DSL
2) Figure out how to place the order to switch me to U-Verse. ( Although they did quote $40/mo and $100-$50 install fee )
So I'm stuck at 6mb with metered phone for $48/mo total. |

I know a lot of people are put off by the price and believe me, I am too, but my thing is, if you just OFFER it, there's a good chance I'll get it. I'm a bandwidth glutton. Give me 100Mbps for $150 a month. I'll sell the clothes off my back if I have to. |

If they're going to make it hard on you...that's what I'd do. |

Be aware that the official date isn't until February 1, 2008 and some folks have tried calling in advanced and are actually being told MUCH later than that, so who knows what's going on. |
