I tried to order it yesterday and the lady I spoke with said that max is in their ordering system for my area (Sacramento) when I asked about it but she was specifically told that they can't place orders for it until the 1st. So she wrote my name and number down on her calendar and will call me on the 31st to place the order so I don't have to get bounced around departments again.
I wish they had a separate phonenumber for just uverse. When I called the 1800 I put in my AT&T cellphone number (since thats the only number I have through them) which then caused them to bounce me to that department. Then after holding for 10 minutes I told them I need to talk to someone who handles uverse, then they bounced me over there which ended up putting me on hold another 8 minutes. |

They do, it just costs $80/month and seems to be unstable right now and also have a upload limit of about 1.5Mb even though they say it should be 2Mb, so you are doing better right now...I would stay put if I were you. |

Does AT&T negotiate on price? I think Insight is increasing the speeds to 10mbit/2mbit for $40 here soon. Just wondering if I can tell AT&T that when I get 10/1.5 and they'll match the price... |

Tell them you are tired of paying full price for a beta product. |

I got 10/1.5 ordered today. No FTTP and Columbus, OH market. You have to ask. The rep I spoke to did not know about it even, but she went through the menus and it was there as an option for me. |

When you get provisioned, please post your max sync and current sync rates. Curious about how they are provisioning. I've heard/seen that nothing changes which is odd but it means they are probably using some sort of dynamic bandwidth allocation profile. |

1 edit | Or they are starting to use QoS rules, which they are allowed to do as it is 'up to' 10 down and 'up to' 1.5 up. In other words, if you are using all streams, it can (maybe not, but can) start to cut into your internet bandwidth. |

When I ordered the 10/1.5 tier my speed was active before i hung up the phone. The gateway didn't reset or anything

The lady last night said they only do the activations of the 10/1.5 service until 7pm? So mine activated in the morning. I waited 3 hours and it didn't activate last night. |
