 | My god man he is insane.
Many of us Americans are paying $50+ for unsteady 1meg or less service. Imagine what it will cost for unsteady 1 gig service? $500 a month? What does he think, that we can print our own money? |

You 5 engineers before you can bring a excavator to the dig the hole (road engineer, earthquake engineer, soil engineer, pollution engineer, surveyor, and a army of lawyers for zoning code, ROW, rights and clearances, liability, etc). It goes on and on. What happen to 3 pickup trucks and a bunch of rednecks in plaid shirts installing utilities? If the useless crap of todays public utilities existed in the 1920s-1960s, if you don't have Urban density, you would still be reading by candling or gasoline generator, and using an outhouse or septic tank, and the only telecom you will have is satellite and not-necessarily-portable wireless phone. Water? Wired Telephone? Sewage? What is this, the Taj Mahal?
Go live like most other countries of the world, local generators, satellite TV, mobile phones, or brick car phones, or communal phones, septic tanks and your own electric well if you buy a McMansion, otherwise handpump or communal well with gasoline for its generator paid by the town, toilets, hahhaha, outhouse or govt may pay for "night soil collector", except in USA they use motor vehicles! |
