I do have IE set to prompt for most items, but never got any illegal operations when "testing" shockwave until this version.<br><br>  I again removed Shockwave.  I turned off BOClean and my antivirus and installed Shockwave 10.2.022.  I'm very happy to say I tested Seamonkey and IE without any error messages.<br>  You were smart in waiting to install this version.  I don't know what possessed me to install it, I usually wait.<br><br>  I appreciate your thoughts on this.  Going back to an older version helped.<br><br>  I also appreciate Antdude's advice to uncheck the anonymous information - I didn't know about that.<br><br>  Sincerely, Libra]]></description>

At least that's the case with Firefox.<br>Do you have something disallowing javascript on that page, maybe?<br><br>That's about all I can think of at the moment.<br><br>You could always try dropping back to the previous version. I don't know that this is necessarily even an 'official' release yet. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't.<br>I haven't installed it yet. I like to get an idea of what it is specifically that's been updated first.<br><br>Shockwave and Flash installations are much like JRE installations, in that they often turn out to be an adventure.]]></description>

I uninstalled Shockwave once again and used IE to do the online install.  That all went well and I got the installation complete - when I attempted to go to the test shockwave page I got the IE errors again - I'm attaching a copy of the first one.  I actually got two, as before.  When I used Seamonkey to go to the test page, it showed Shockwave 10.3r24 installed but when I closed the browser I got the plugin error.<br>  My Shockwave install log is 46kb.  Is that a normal size for this? <br>  The only thing installing online with IE did correct, is I now have this version of Shockwave listed in "view objects" in IE.  When I saw that I was hopeful that it corrected the illegal operations problem.<br>  I don't know how to fix this problem and I'm wondering if I should install the new Shockwave on our XP computer. <description><![CDATA[<A HREF="/useremail/u/854295"><b>Libra</b></A> : I'm having problems after installing this latest version of Shockwave on my Windows 98se computer.<br><br>I first used add/remove to remove the current Shockwave (which seemed to take awhile), rebooted and then went to View Objects in IE and removed two instances of Shockwave.  Since doing that the latest version doesn't show up in View Objects anymore.<br><br>During the install and afterwards, I experienced many error messages. (Explorer illegal page fault in module Kernel32.dll, GLJA2A4 illegal page fault in module ).  Meanwhile it said "congrats - shockwave director successfully installed"?<br><br>I have also gotten a plug in error from Seamonkey, and IE performed an illegal operation after I visit the test Shockwave Page.  <br><br>So I removed that version of Shockwave 10.3.024, rebooted and downloaded a fresh copy of Shockwave.<br><br>I'm still getting the plug-in error from Seamonkey and the IE illegal operation if I test Shockwave.  Here's a picture of them.  <br><br>I have no idea of how to correct this.  I have the installation files of Shockwave 10.2.022 (which I previously had) and 10.2.023.  Should I remove this 10.3 and install one of those instead?<br><br>I'd appreciate any help. Maybe if you uncheck Macromedia Flash Player in the application part of ccleaner it might help.<br><br>I am going to assume you use Internet Explorer. The folder that is getting cleaned is most likely Downloaded Program Files.<br>IE->Tools->Internet Options->General Tab->Settings Button->View Objects Button<br><br>On the Windows Tab, under the Internet Explorer heading in Ccleaner, try unchecking Last download location. It is absolutely ridiculous that Adobe hasn't released an Intel Mac version of Shockwave. To force users to exit their browser, change it to the slower Rosetta mode when a user happens do visit a site that has Shockwave is a nuissance at best - most Mac users just stay away. If the Creative Suite has been recoded (almost entirely) then I'm SURE that Adobe had the resources to recode Shockwave. To ignore us Mac users is not in Adobe's best interest.]]></description>

The automatic part of the shock wave player that you have already installed will kick in at some point.
