Re: Lot of Millions Served to Go Verizon doesn't have 65.7 million customers. You are confusing them with Verizon Wireless.
Verizon has around 40.1 million landline customers as of today. Most of these customers are in range of lower speed DSL.
The true value of FiOS is achieved when customers subscribe to triple of quadriple play packages consisting of VOIP, TV and HSI. Add wireless to the mix and they love you even more. |

What VoIP? Verizon's VoiceWing is a branded third party product.
Phone service over FiOS is POTS. Been one of the most beaten horses around here for the last few years. |
