In one case cited in this thread, CSRs flat out lied to a poster about the cost and when/if it would go up. Want to bet that if challenged, Comcast will use the dodge that the CSR was "misinformed"?
I wouldnt even say the CSR was misinformed. I would go so far as to say the whole conversation was sketchy at best. If someone calls in asking about a $99 for a year!!! promo and the csr states "Nope, thats the price, even after the promo is over!!!" Wouldnt that raise some issues? When does common sense take over? To take that a step further and say a year later the customer was SHOCKED! when their bill canme. Because she was told the $99 for a year promo would last forever.
