| Misleading numbers? I think that 8.2 m includes many many many cable boxes with DOCSIS and an Ethernet port (hence the e-MTA ref) which will just sit and sit in people's homes and never be used. The MSOs IMO are ass-backwards.
I had a Phase III DCT box and it has a DOCSIS modem and Ethernet port. It has a DOCSIS MAC address. Can I just activate it and start paying comcast $50/month for their HSI? HELL NO.
