As redbaron mentions, check out the other thread, with the following correction: they're now $25, not $30.
Quality: they're tested and we give 180 day warranty. No unhappy customers 
Other details? Not much more to it...we deliver for free in certain areas, otherwise shipping is $10 for one modem, and varies for multiple units. I should probably mention that someone had asked me what logo was on the front, the 2Wire or AT&T one...the answer is "whichever makes you feel better". I got the impression that it was driven by an incorrect assumption about quality given past experience with other places that sell these, so I'll say once again that it doesn't matter.

You're right, it does matter. What I meant (OK, it was ambiguous) was that it doesn't matter in terms of quality - what we ship out will sync well, regardless of the logo.
We exclude units where the stats deviate by +/- 1.0dB from the norm for these modems on the test line.

| Thank Erik..I was the one who asked about the logo in the front of the unit. I tried 2 different ones with 2wire logo and they didnt work at all. Then i remembered about someone mentioning that CC carries the AT&T logo and wondered if those had better chance of working.
I might be in for one of the modems. I will wait for your response on the difference between the 2 models.
Btw, what are your delivery hours in the GTA? |

Judging from the hundreds of units which we have tested and sold in the past we can conclude with certainty that there is no direct correlation between firmware and logo, firmware and wifi power levels, power levels and serial numbers.

Just bought a 2wire modem off Caneris. Delievered within 4 hrs of ordering. Tech showed up on time as promised and even called as requested. He even installed it to make sure everything was ok and provided some tips.
Modem worked right away. I tried 2 modems in the past from 2wire and they both were junk. Too many of these floating around. The good thing is that Caneris test these before sending them out and provide 180 days warranty. Hopefully, if something needs to go wrong, it will happen by then.

Control Centre shows software version 4.25.19. My unit has the AT&T logo on the front, model number 2700HG-B. My speeds with Teksavvy are better with this modem than with my last (Broadmax!).
BTW... Under Hardware options, it says 'Wireless present'. Does this mean this is also a wireless hub? |

My d-link modem from look.ca is giving me hard time. read good review about 2wire modems. I would like to buy it from Caneris rather than the ebay headach. Called but it is sunday and no one there. I will call again as the week begins.
I am not sure if this one has a netwark cable outlet. Any comments?

I'm not sure what you mean by "netwark cable outlet". It has a "plug" for power supply, phone line input (since it is a DSL modem, not a cable modem) and 4 Local ethernet outputs. |

Just got one in Waterloo. It works better than my old speedstream 5200 (yikes) on my crappy 4 meg connection. It came quickly and the Caneris guy helped me get wireless going as well. |
