STAY AWAY

In norther WI Frontier seems to be unreliable more times than it is reliable. If your main pc use is peak hours (5pm-9pm CST) good luck. I hope you have a better route than me. Online gaming is almost unbearable anymore. They were liveable for a while(still low speeds but liveable) but now it has just been bogged down to speeds barely faster than dialup during the peak hours. Upload cuts to under 5 Kb which makes online gaming non-existent. I doubt it is my hardware since at about 9:30 or 10 pm it is all of a sudden better and speeds come back to their normal rate (not their advertised speed mind you, but liveable again). I don't know what speeds are during the day since I am at work, but the time that I use the internet I might as well just use dialup cause thats how slow it is. maybe 2x faster.

I just noticed this, sorry mate. I have compared both side by side and even though Suddenlink has high pings lately during peak hours Frontier still performs worse. I hope Verzion gobbles up Frontier and fixes it up.
