I know that not everybody on here is Catholic but here is a prayer for sick children,maybe if we all said it tonight.....well ya never know what tomorrow might bring.

I can only imagine what you're going through. It reminds me of the time I lost my father to cancer. He had longer then 24 hours, but that was no less hurtful.
You have my thoughts and prayers. May your son get filled with fluid and piss a river so he can start recovering ^_^

I'm so sorry, but please don't loose faith in your son's strength. Being a non-religious individual, I believe leaving things up to God is going to get nothing accomplished, at least here on Earth.
You have to believe in HIM (your son) in order for him to pull through this.
I know you already know this, but I figured it'd be nice to hear/see again.
I hope things get better for him and your whole family in the very near future.

If there was a "God" there wouldn't be these problems.
I don't say prayers but I wish you and your son the best of luck..
I sorta know what your going threw..I recently went to go get a physical for a new job that I was hired for, and found out I have a disease on my lungs, that can turn into cancer, my only assurance is that its not currently "active" in my body.
But you go get a physical thinking everything is going to be okay and then they just drop this on you.
I also run rosetta@home and Folding@home, hopefully soon someone will find a cure for cancer.
