Re: No problems in Boise here....

I'm always very clear as to the contracts that I am signing and what the terms are. Many of the "unethical business practices" that Clearwire supposedly has or the "multiple complaints about Clearwire" that you can find are in large part due to knuckleheaded customers not optimizing their service properly, giving up and then trying to get out of a contact they did not understand in the first place.

There is a lack of personal responsibility being shown by a lot of people more and more as each year goes by.

That's great for you, but the point here is that AFTER his contract was up, they went behind his back and renewed it another year. Fine print or not, that's dirty business. I'd be mad as hell too! We almost let this company bleed us dry by signing up with them, however, after reading the fine print and then googling "Clearwire Reviews," I found what I expected - multiple complaints about Clearwire's unethical business practices. We thought that paying an annual fee of $640 or so for a phone/1.5 Mbps internet bundle was a great deal (who could beat $53 a month for a bundle of blazing speed and unlimited calls?). After reading this, I think we'll just finish paying our huge Qwest bill, take off some bells and whistles we don't really need, and get halfway decent customer service PLUS awesome speed for less in the long run!!! Qwest doesn't penalize me for watching a YouTube video or posting a blog about my children. I can deal with having to pay a bit more for great service.
