been on hold for an hour w/ EDHD... arghhhhhhhhh. these people are useless some days

Just a data point (sorry, bad pun) for you: Down over here too (I-55/I-294 area). Tried MEdia Net, "error, connection failed". Phone is showing 3G service.

ALL GSM data: edge, 3g, HSPDA etc....

iPhone users would only be able to connect via wifi.

clubs:		 I was told this morning via "Live support Chat" the problem affects all GSM data for North Central and south eastern US. My data dropped out around 7:30 am central. My co workers didn't stop till about a half hour later.

 this forum seems to indicate the problem did spread much further:

we're not seeing any issues in detroit/la/chicago/atlanta yet though... hmmdedum.

a few people in chicago seem to indicate they still have EDGE on ATT too...

Still down out here on EDGE at least. I rarely get a decent 3G signal at my office.

How long was it down...?... I know things like this shouldn't happen but if only down 6 or 7 hrs not bad... This stuff is still in its infancy ...

No. I heard the data center now has a stain on it's blue dress though.
Maybe "More Bars" in the commercials really refers to the establishments frequented by ATT Data Center techs prior to making system changes??
