Why use a host file when you have ad block plus?

Why use a host file when you have ad block plus?

Because Ad-Block only protects via your browser whereas a Hosts file protects the whole system whether your browsing or not and is not browser specific.

It's quite large. »www.bluetack.co.uk/forums/index.···pic=8406 I few AS solutions installed in my Windows box but I rely more on hardening the system via including locking the registry and accessing the net under a limited account.
