Most Tripplite UPSes (example) have a button on the front that will mute the audible alarm emitted when power is lost -- and remembers the setting even after power is lost/restored (push it once and you're done).

FWIW: I buy Tripplite UPSes for my home because I can't stand APC's consumer-level products. I use APC products in datacenters, but am considering Tripplite equipment solely due to how reliable they've been in my home.
