Before I get flamed, I do actually use BT for legit uses, WOW updates are a big one, trials and linux ISO's are another. Revision3 shows are another big one for me as they download automatically. I don't recall that AT&T said anything about BT users in general, just that they plan to filter pirated content. The implication being that P2P transfer of legitimate files should not be affected.
