The Last mile would cost about $100 billion to build but would likely last for decades. Copper has been used for 100 years. It would cost about $100 billion to do and would be paid for by the Federal Government and the 50 states.
Going by your numbers of $35 x 12 x 30 = $12,600 - $4000 = $8600.
So the Fed could even see a profit. |
