As long as it's a Retail Version of Vista, MS will replace it, if it's a OEM/DSP, they will not replace it, you will have to buy one, or order a Vista SP1 CD from MS after SP1 is released.

I don't have to worry about loosing my installation of Vista Premium because when I bought my Compaq Presario SR5023WM it cam with a 250GB hard witch 8GBs of it is used as a recovery partition. When I first turned it on it gave me the second option of backing up the partition on to separate DVDs as a recovery partition setup. So I have nothing to fear. |
