It is 50 lbs lighter than the previous years model. I can't wait to break it in! Now if only it could stay above 0 degrees!

| You bastid!!! I have a 1998 MXZ 583. I just love the REV platform and plan on getting one soon. Best snowmobile design in the industry. We just got two feet of snow yesterday. I gotta get out on mine soon. Thanks for sharing. These are nice shots. To bad you live like 5000km away or we could go on a few rides!

Haha that would be fun. Actually the dealer was telling me that the Rev XP platform puts the Rev platform to shame. I have a hard time believing that myself though but I can't wait to find out. |

| The renegade was the previous platforms model. My family also has a Rev Renegade as well as a Summit Rev, and then some older models like an MXZ 550 F, an MXZ 500, and an MXZ 600.
When buying my own, I tried to think about what I would most use the machine for. The MXZ Rev XP is the brand new platform for 2008, its 50 lbs lighter than the renegade with the same amount of power. It cannot be touched as far as lakes and trails go, and can gun up mountains nearly as well as last years Summits, and any Polaris RMK. It set me back about 10 grand, but I am really looking forward to pushing it to its limits and breaking my own snowmachine speed record which is currently 105 mph! |
