From what I hear, you cannot slipstream SP1 into Vista so in any case, you cannot do a clean install of SP1 unless you purchase Vista all over again with SP1 integrated. Well if my Vista dvd gets damaged they will replace it for a small fee. And I will ask them to send me one with SP1 on it  I did the samething with XP. As long as it's a Retail Version of Vista, MS will replace it, if it's a OEM/DSP, they will not replace it, you will have to buy one, or order a Vista SP1 CD from MS after SP1 is released.
