1 edit | No real choice... Do you ever stop to consider there may be circumstances that force someone with one company over another?
In my case, my wife needed internet service. To get that through Verizon cost an EXTRA $45/month right off the bat... Then to get to the same level of service that TM gives for $35/month would have run us about $75/month with Verizon.
So, yes, we knew TXT couldn't be blocked when we "signed" the contract OVER THE PHONE (aka, there was no signing process).
What we DIDN'T know was that the number we got used to belong to a dead-beat mom who owes, owes, owes... So we get lovely phone calls and TXTs. Unfortunately, the line being used for business and these discoveries being after the proliferation of the number, changing numbers isn't a choice and changing carriers isn't with the lovely 2 year contract.
So, I think you're narrow minded for assuming everyone is in this for not reading their contracts. |
