I don't think that's necessarily bad as long as they're forthcoming with the specs, but it could backfire on them as some of the annoyances could turn off a good number of people that purchase them out of ignorance.

People are foaming to see Apple fall on its face. People who have never used their computers, people who for some reason loathe the iPod, people who hate the concept of the iPhone. Some people far too concerned about what other people do with their money.
Yeah, it's an ultra-light ultra-portable computer that is the first to address what I've been pissing and moaning about when it comes to portables -- they're getting heavier and the battery life sucks.
Am I going to buy one? Hell no. But I might buy a follow-up from a competitor (or even Apple) if it meets my price point and suits my needs. This pushes those who are already in this market a little harder.
Relax people, it's just a freakin' computer. And if Apple users get under your skin, you need to work on your self-esteem issues. |
