Why do I ping worse to Chicago gaming servers than a player in BRAZIL.?  I only wish I were exaggerating.<br><br>What is being done about this?  Am I the only one that's afflicted?  Am I the only one who notices?<br><br>Look, latency with Charter was always spastic.  There was a good deal of loss at peak times but when there wasn't- it worked.  At least they didn't route all traffic half a country away.  Pinging lower to LA than NY, Chicago, or any other destination on the eastern seaboard is more than a tad silly. My 12M has been very Bad for past few days, so this appears to indicate that something is broken, also Tracerts to Suddenlink.net indicate 35ms at Hop #4, then jumps to 96ms at #5, and before all this, #5 was about 50ms and recently was 62ms for past month. I only get to use it from 4 to 430am. It doesn't,t work when I get home so I basically have full speed for 1/2hr a day. It's also bad that the local tech for Suddenlink isn't aloud to contact NOC. This shows how mush this company wants our money but doesn't want to provide the service it advertises.
