| Need to send large file but both behind FW
Greetings All.
I have a large file (1 gig) that I would like to transfer to my brother. The thing is I need some way of doing it. I tried using AIM and mIRC and both ways the connection fails. We are both behind firewalls that we really dont have much of control over.
Any recommendations to either get AIM or MIRC to work or is there some other method?

You could try playing with the firewall settings under the "File Sharing" category in preferences for AIM.

You could look into hamachi also it's free and would allow you and your brother to network almost like you were behind the same router. Then you would be able to enable printer and filesharing between you 2. |
