| [TW] cant connect laptop
Hi ,
I have EL installed by TW. I don't really need a hub to connect other pc's but every now and again i need to hook my laptop up
Cant seem to connect! first i tried obtaining everything automatically no cookies, then i tried entering the ip setting from my desktop. still nothing.
Like i said all i need to do occasionally is to pull the network cable from my pc and plug it in my laptop.
Can any one give me any idea's?

| You need to remove power from the modem for at least 5 minutes (30 would be better) and shutdown the laptop. Then, apply power to the modem and allow it to to sync up. Boot up the laptop, and you should be connected.
Using a router would enable you to have both computers connected at the same time. |
