High speed Internet via DOCSIS is carried via RF channels just like any TV channel is. This, though, is not an Internet service. I seriously doubt Cox would be throttling a cable VoD channel they provide and charge for, should they choose to offer a similar product.

This Cablevision story is about a service they are putting on their own systems, not something they are offering to the world via Internet.

For some reason you don't seem to be able to separate captive video services from Internet data.

Ever wonder how bandwidth is actually distinguised by providers with both BB and cable services from the same provider? Dunno bout your personal situation, but Cox in this county plays fast/loose with bandwidth and doesn't really distinguish cable v BB. Bandwidth is bandwidth.
