| My mid-point progress report
When I let you know that I'm wrestling with a metastasized cancer that has taken up residence throughout my abdomen, I told you I felt great and was doing very well with my chemo and even looked as well as an old grouch can look.
Today I got some mid-point (three months down and three more to go 'til we flip a coin) feedback from the Oncologist. She says to add to my list that I'm making exactly the progress she hoped for. We be slaying those danged critters.
I've heard from many of you that I've remained in your thoughts and prayers and I truly appreciate your efforts.
I wish I could share some of my good fortune with some of the others who are not having quite the same luck. Of course, this is only my first time around and if we hit remission, I'm sure that recurrences will give me plenty of excitement in the future.
Keep on crunchin'. It counts!!!!
