wouldn't the places where there are no broadband options show up as empty spots on the map? or at least very spare spots? which, in turn, would give us that same information that we're looking for?
Sort of, but an empty spot wouldn't prove unavailability there, nor give any indication of how many (if any) people live there. -- The public is a poor business manager.
