That's from over a year ago, they weren't the only ones to do it, and they were dropped before they ever actually started charging them. That's the best you've got?

The point is they have a history of hidden fees, and unless they are kept in check, nothing will stop them from reimplementing them. Verizon's no warm and fuzzy teddy bear.

Whoever said they were? And what company doesn't need to be kept in check? Of all of the complaints you could make about them, you choose the biggest non-issue there is. One fee, one time, that was never even implemented, is not a history. A history of bad support? Yes. A history of turning thing over to the government? Yes. But a history of hidden fees? That's a stretch and a half and you still come up short.
