Best ports to use for P2P?

I've tried the following:

4662 TCP, 4672 UDP
6881 to 6889 TCP
1720 to 1755 TCP
Random ports from 49152 to 65535 TCP/UDP (I've tried about a hundred different)

So far, the fastest I've been able to download on uTorrent/Azureus/eMule isn't above 45KB/s.

I'm asking this because only three days ago I remember that I was getting speeds of 450KB/s+, but since then I've had to reboot my modem and I've lost all forwarded ports... and I didn't take notes, I can't remember which ports I forwarded for P2P that granted me such speeds. So I'm here now again looking for known ports that yield decent speeds.

I'd greatly appreciate some suggestions.

You've been throttled. Changing ports won't help as the traffic shaping gear operates by packet inspection and is port independent.

That's not necessarily true. If he/she is getting 45 KBps 24 hours a day, it's not traffic management for two reasons: it's not on during the day and the speed is capped at 30 KBps during the night.

I've been getting 450+ KB/s, but as I said I've had to reboot my modem, and then the ports I had forwarded were all deleted/reset and I had to start from scratch again. I just don't remember by heart which ports I was using. Since then my speeds are horribly low, day and night, time of the day doesn't matter at all.

Just look in the uTorrent connection settings to find out what port you are using.

Get a 3rd party router - use the 5200 just as a modem to get DSL sync then use the router manage the connection as it will enable you to open the ports you need.

you can also trying letting your OS handle the connection just let the modem be a modem and get sync. dont let it handle your pppoe session. this should let you play around with ports easier
