They sent (probably) new people to install it. They kept having to call their office to ask what to do. I was happy with it while it worked, but it would drop connection several times a day. I called the company several times, but they said there was no problem on their end. I had initially had them install everything in my basement, and was assured that the entire house would receive the signal. It's a relatively small ranch style house.

Anyway, I decided to move the router upstairs to where I use my laptop and just use a longer CAT5E cable between the basement and the router. So now the router is in the room with me. I get better connectivity now. It now only drops sometimes when the phone rings or sometimes when I pick up the phone to make a call. Not every time like before.

Now with the router in the room with me I am worried about radiation levels. Is my radiation intake increased with the router in the room with me, or is it coming from just having FIOS in the house in the first place? Is there any significant worry about radiation from FIOS at any distance? Sorry for the length of this.
