I picked up U-verse and dropped Comcast tv. Nice so far. What I really like is the Internet speeds.
Anyone else with U-verse here get the new tier 10/1.5 ?
(I know about the thread in U-verse forum) Ping is a little slow though, but doesn't bother me.

When you can get it, grab it. So far much better then Comcast and better internet speeds then AT&T dsl. I really like the upload for ftp.:D I think now with the internet upgrade I pay $100.00 a month.

| I want it. I really do. Looking for the U200 + HD with Pro package. That runs 89.00/month.
But...the new VRAD was installed and new copper was run to my condo complex though it appears that the complex wiring won't support it. So it appears I'm SOL. VRAD is supposed to be live then end of this month. We will see what happens.

I can simply pull new CAT5 between them quite easily. Now, trying to somehow relay that info to AT&T is the issue. If they can come out and simply test that they get a good signal outside the unit, I'd be happy to do the rest.
As you can see by the pictures, it would be quite easy for my to do.

| possible plan however let me throw this out there, would the same apply to all the units in the complex? It's rather an all units or none kinda thing... wouldn't be fair to the other residents if they hear you got Uverse but they cant..

| Fair? I don't want to knock on AT&T but is it fair to deploy to one part of a neighborhood and deny others? Whatever, I'm not going to argue about that. I understand that you can't please everyone, I'll just leave it at that. I'll keep my mouth shut if this 'plan' works...promise... 
And yes, all other units appear to be wired in the same fashion in the complex. Not that I want to go snooping around to each unit but from what I see they are all the same. See your IM.

I currently use U-Verse (U-200) & love it! $74 a month total for 200 channels & my high speed internet is a pretty good deal! Before I had U-Verse installed, I was paying $120 per month for DSL, DirecTV, & limited basic cable through Metrocast. |

| Same is true in my town. I have it, but it's not yet available to my sister who lives down the street. Hopefully they get it rolled out in her area soon, because I think that her & my brother in law would get the service if it's made available to them. She said that they are now paying $55 per month for Metrocast, and all they have is basic cable. |
