| Not a tax cut at all for anybody. The entire 10% tax had been declared unconstitutional and was due to be removed. This is a brand new 9% tax. Not a 1% cut.
As to the sad fact that the government needs money to operate, they already get about half of our income in various taxes at various levels of government, local, regional, state and fed. If half my money isn't enough for them, too bad for me, 'cause I'm a tax slave.
Tax revenues have never been higher than they are now, and that's always been true. |
