SpeedStream 4200, DIR625, Azureus

Hi, Im not able to get green NAT in Azureus.
I follow the PortForward guide but with no succes.
I cant access my Speedstream advance setup, but i red that it is set by Sympatico as a bridge by default.(is this how it has to be ?)
I found my static ip like the PORTFORWARD guide say, for the DNS i use the one i saw in my SpeedStream, then enter everything in the TCP ip properties and was able to browse the web, so i went in my DIR625 and enter the info for portfowarding and save and reboot DIR625. Then try NAT test on azureus and its telling me that port must be close.

What did i do wrong ?

Thanks

Christian

Is your router's WAN port set up for PPPoE authentication, or is it in DHCP, or Automatic? If that's the case, that's your problem.

You need to change it to PPPoE, and enter your bell b1 login/password into the config. Then you can port forward and it will work.

Thanks HiVolt, you are right, i did that only after i was finnaly able to find a way via a command (192.168.2/brgmode.cgi) to put the SpeedStream in bridge mode, then i went to my DIR 625 and select PPPoE, enter my ISP username and password, check Dynamic IP, Reconnect Mode is ON DEMAND, MAX IDLE TIOME is at 5, Primary and Secondary DNS Server i left at 0.0.0.0, MTU at 1492 and MAC Adress i left a 00:00:00:00:00:00, Save and reboot, and got a Green NAT right away.

But just to make sure, does my PPPOE connection setup is ok ? and do i have to modify anything else in my router ?

Thanks

Christian
