North Royalton, OH | Amazing This article talked about showing the motion of cell phones while in vehicles to track and predict traffic paterns to help aleviate congestion. And everyone jumps on here talking about how thier rights have been violated. I have driven in Los Angeles, traffic is a nightmare, anything that could help that mess is an improvement.
Grow up people, they are not tracking individuals, they are tracking cell phones that are in motion. |

I think its called EZ-PASS everywhere? No? I think they've been tracking with ez-pass for awhile now.

Not the same kind of tracking. Ez-PASS / IPass etc.
EZPASS records where you 'paid' your Toll. Along with your License Plate. The lawyers are using that information to prove that a specific CAR was in a general area.
Most phones have the option of enabling GPS for emergencies only.
