Re: Vista issues SP1 is done, it's RTM. i work at MS and i run it on all my machines @ work and home. it has made a noticeable difference in most of my machines. my wife has an HP laptop that had real issues coming out of standby, those issues have seemed to have gone away. file transferring is definitely faster. i will be the first to say that Vista should not have been released until this SP1 was done. the product was shipped with known issues and that really ticks me off. i personally feel MS should release RTM version of their OS's for free and let people use it or not then sell the version with the first SP1. that way it has been properly vetted and is less likely to create negative public opinions like those found in threads like these.... |
