As of Sunday, February 10, 2008, this problem persists. The issue is just as bad as ever, as right now I've got a ping to Google of over 200ms.


Same problematic hop as everyone else, too.


I tried to ping www.centurytel.com, but it appears CenturyTel's website does not respond to pings. Doing a trace route, however, reveals that the ping there is probably over 200ms as well.
