anon : I just spoke to my e-mail provider, who is being affected by the Level3 issue. Apparently, the story goes that a fiber cable was cut in the Washington area... currently Level 3, UUNet, and another ISP (can't remember the name) are having a meeting trying to work out a resolution. The problem seems to be causing problems with some east coast to west coast traffic, which I'm sure you all know at this point.

I'm stunned that it's been this long.
