I just signed up for 'dry-loop' ATT DSL Pro yesterday because of this news - combined with 3M DSL is $28.99 from ATT and, since my deal expired, my TWCable is now $43.35.
So, I save $15 per month (deduct $50 for modem) on a NO TERM contract and get free wifi at Starbucks' 7000 locations around US!
Win, win, win! -> unless ATT DSL sucks
