| [General] Nothing but a busy signal
I just switched to Brighthouse VOIP. No problems except anytime a local Verizon cell phone calls the house, they get a busy signal. It is the only service provider that does this. Nextel, Alltel and landlines work fine. Can anybody tell me where to turn? Verizon insists it is a Brighthouse problem. I'm still waiting on a response from Brighthouse. |

| the carrier that is unable to complete the call is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving the problem for their customer. A customer of Verizon Wireless should call support and open a trouble ticket advising that calls to your number don't complete. no mention of Brighthouse or VOIP should be in the trouble ticket at Verizon Wireless -- let them figure it out. -- "Teleblend has an agreement with the Assignee to solicit and support former SunRocket customers." |

Also, who did you switch from. Was it a ported number. the 1st 6 digits 555-555-XXXX would tell about your number. »www.telcodata.us/telcodata/telco Plugging it into that link offers more detail.
A transition period can be normal as posted. -- Jim -- USA2K, SEE: Darlin' REBEKAH, VoIP since 12/2002, Packet8 since 12/2006. VOIPo in Beta, and former Vonage . . . |
