Errr... Check your HiJack This! log once you install it. It tries to change IE's homepage and puts some entries in the Hijack log that aren't quite healthy. Read the EULA too. The last part. That was what made me suspicious and run HiJack This.

The installer and the main program tried to access a server but I didn't allow it. I removed the program and did a Spybot S&D scan. It reported ShowBehind entries that did appear to modify the IE environment.

I installed it again, with Returnil running.

EVERY time you open the application, it tries to phone home:

Clicking settings, you will get yet another connection attempt. There is NO setting that will disable this. Oddly enough, under settings, there IS a "Check for updates" button. But it is useless, since is tries to phone home anyway, all the time!

If you deny the connection, you get:

Whoever feels comfortable with this behaviour, can go on and install it.

Interesting, hadn't had time to install it, thankfully..just ran it thru the online scanners this morning.

Looks like perhaps the a/v vendors need to be made aware for future detection.

Having looked in to this software in more detail it is not up to the usual standard set by myself and therefor i do not recommend owing to the EULA and of the trying to modify the IE. If you have it installed then i would remove it and sorry for this posting of it

7zip is much better app.
